      Why FloraBox?

To take some of the guesswork out of plant buying, we've curated a collection of perennials with our plant partner Sooner Plant Farm that we know will perform well in your garden. These are high-performing varieties that you can’t find just anywhere. We’ve always been fans of Sooner’s large selection and high-quality plants. We think you will be, too.

      The Bright & Beautiful FloraBox

Uptick Yellow and Red Coreopsis ( Coreopsis hybrid) Grow this cheerful yellow-and-red coreopsis and you'll have flowers for bouquets all summer long. At 12 to 14 inches tall and wide, it's the perfect front-of-the-border companion plant, and no pests or diseases seem to bother it, athough butterflies do love it. In fact, you don't even have to deadhead to keep it blooming (although you'll want to cut the blooms for bouquets...). Grow it in full sun in USDA cold-hardiness zones 5 to 8.

Sugar Buzz 'Grape Gumball' Bee Balm (Monarda hybrid) These vibrant purple-magenta flowers will buzz with insect activity in midsummer. Unlike some of the older bee balms, they form a compact mound only 20 to 24 inches tall and 16 to 24 inches wide. Deer generally stay away from bee balm's fragrant foliage. Grow it in full sun to part shade. USDA cold-hardiness zones 4 to 8.

'Sunny Morning' Baptisia (Baptisia hybrid) is an amazing perennial that just gets better with every passing year. We like Sunny Morning's lemon-yellow flowers and compact growth habit. It only grows 3 to 4 feet tall and wide so is easier to fit into an established garden than some baptisias are. And after it blooms, baptisia's flowers form fascinating seedpods that eventually turn a striking black-brown color. Its foliage looks beautiful all summer, unlike many spring-blooming perennials. Grow it in full sun in USDA cold-hardiness zones 4 to 7.

'Grape Timeless' Coral Bells (Heuchera hybrid) Coral bells have long been beloved for their foliage. Grape Timeless doesn't disappoint with deep purple-veined-black leaves. But it also has beautiful pink flowers that rebloom from spring through summer. These compact 18 to 20-inch-tall-and-wide perennials make perfect border companions. Grow it in sun or shade in USDA cold-hardiness zones 4 to 9.
